Shipping & Returns

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Online orders take 3 - 7 business days to arrive post order placement. Shipping time may vary depending on availability for order processing and delivery in the US.  All items are shipped using USPS depending on what you choose. If a package is lost, stolen, or damaged by USPS Just BE and the For the Culture Online Market cannot be held responsible.

A tracking number and email confirmation will be provided for all orders. Flat rate starts at $3.50 for orders under .25 lbs and up to $15.00 for orders over 1 lb. Rates are based on the customer's address and the weight of their order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Please allow 2-3 weeks for order processing if you're out of the country. If you do not see a shipping option for your country or region, please email hello@justbecommunity.com for help. Cost  to ship ranges from $15 - $50 based on destination.

DUTIES

Some countries may charge import duties or other random fees. Sorry, we have no control over this and it's your responsibility to pay for any fees.

RETURNS

The For the Culture Marketplace is a collective of Black Women Entrepreneurs who create most of our items by hand with intention and passion in hopes that you will love it, however, if for some reason you don't, please contact us at hello@justbecommunity.com for a refund. We do not accept returns or broken items purchased through retailers that sell any of our makers’ products, so please contact the store in which you purchased the item for assistance.

Our policy lasts 30 days. This means that if you place your order on Jan 1st, it will arrive on Jan 5. You then you have 30 days remaining to return the item/s for refund (i.e. Feb 5th). If 30 days have gone by since you received your item/s, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. 

However, you are still eligible for store credit or an exchange up to 60 days after your purchase. You may request an exchange for the same product or a product that is of equal value to the product you purchased. If 60 days have gone by since you received your item/s, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund, store credit, or an exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused/worn and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

REFUNDS (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 business days ( based on bank processing).

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

We only replace or offer store credit for items that are defective or damaged within 60 days of your purchase. You may request an exchange for the same product or a product that is of equal value to the product you purchased. If 60 days have gone by since you received your item/s, unfortunately we can’t offer you store credit or an exchange.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate/discount code will be mailed (or emailed) to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
